Lesson schedules book up quickly, so check your calendar, speak directly with
your instructor, select a day or 3, and then Lock-it-in with a Reservation.

Lesson Reservation Deposit:
$50 Per-Person / Per Lesson-Day
Due to the high demand for lessons, and the small supply of Outstanding
Certified Kiteboarding Instructors, Lesson Deposits are required.

Roberto Villate

After 20+ years of windsurfing on the East Coast, San Francisco, The Gorge, Maui, and
the Middle East, Roberto had his second awakening when he watched pros like Robby
Naish, Flash Austin, Mark Doyle and others KiteSurfing at the Gorge Games. He was
hooked immediately!

Early in 2004 Roberto finally got his priorities straight and took a 'sabbatical' from his
career in architecture and construction to teach KiteSurfing and sailing full-time.

Roberto has been KiteSurfing since 2001 and most of his riding time has been in Western
Michigan (on Lake Michigan) from June until September, Florida during October/November
& April/May, Costa Rica, Thailand & Viet Nam from November thru March. Roberto has also
taught lessons in Maine, Cape Cod, Nantucket Island, Cape Hatteras, and Corpus Christi
& SPI Texas to give lessons as well.

Cape Hatteras and South Padre Island are places that you can arrange for instruction and
kitesurfing camps, quite possibly the best places in the world to learn.

During the winter months Roberto has also been SnowKiting on the many incredible lakes
in upper Michigan. Snowkiting is a great way to get into this sport if you live in, or visit,
snow country.

Roberto is also a certified US Sailing Keelboat Instructor and has extensive performance
sailing and coaching experience.

Now the big question... " How does Roberto rank as a kiteboarding instructor?"

After watching him teach, speaking with his students following lessons, and knowing his
reputation, its very easy to recommend Roberto. There are many certified instructors
out there who have little more than a certificate in their hand, The accident reports I
get sent to me about some instructors is unsettling to put it nicely. Its really a pleasure to
have an instructor like Roberto associated with our company who knows how to focus 100%
