The last time I rented a car in Fortaleza it was very small , no A/C, stereo, no stereo, or alarm. The price was R$60 per day, and a lot of time was wasted getting myself back and forth from Cumbuco to Fortaleza for pick-up and drop-off.
Rudy's smallest cars are larger then the typical Brazilian rental car, and renting from him is very convenient, and as easy as it gets. I'm personally renting a car from him right now (photo above) while my own car is being serviced.

Rudcar Car Rentals Prices begin at R$ 50 ( brazilian Reais ) per day for a smaller car.
Larger SUV's and Pick-up trucks are also available.

Rudcar is based in Icarai, Ceara, next to Tabuba and Cumbuco.
Airport Transfers
If you're flying into Fortaleza, Rudy also does Airport Transfers for only R$50.
( Most taxi's and local Hotels and Pousadas charge a R$70 or more )
